JJ - Here We Come!

Yea.  Gracie here.  I don't care if I get in trouble for writing in  the nag's mom's blog today.  I've been overhearing some stuff.  I may have to see the nag mom in judge judy's court.

overheard conversation:
mom:  I'm almost done the book.  I'm afraid it's going to need one more edit before going to print.
dad:  that's okay.  let's get it out there.
mom:  I'm going to get Angie to edit it this time.  She'll do a great job. (this is the sister of mom who teaches school and scares me when she comes to visit.  ugh.)
dad:  when will it be done?
mom:  beginning of June for edit.  beginning of July for publishing.

Now, this wouldn't be such a big deal, had this conversation not been entirely about ...  well...  partly about ...  my own personal diary which no one person should be reading but ME!

Now, you'll hear mom say..  'oh Gracie relax.  it's not all about you.'

I beg to differ woman!  Then why be it called,  ahemmm...  Gracie's Diary?  Woman- you publish that book and you going down!

She thinks I'm kidding.  I know for a fact that judge judy likes those who keep their mouths shut.  I talk in my diary.  The nag mom...  huh.  well, let's just say jj will have a field day with that one.

After visiting Julie Marie's latest post, I was reminded of our little friends we've been watching for a while now..  and decided to share...

With Spring...  brings newness of life.
We've been watching Mama bald eagle live via webcam.

Trees ~ A Value That Spans Generations

It's no fun being sick.  Especially on a 'special day'.  I can't remember the last time I missed church on Easter Sunday...
But today I had to settle for a 2011 online broadcast from  Andy Stanley.

Morning's aren't good.  I'm pretty sure what I have is a sinus infection, so if I'm no better by tomorrow I'll go to the doctor to get antibiotics.

This afternoon, Gary and I got out of the house for a while.  We went to an almost empty theatre and
we saw The Hunger Games.

Then the grand-angels came...

There were Easter baskets...

and soft pink bunnies...

A curious Gracie looks on as Rissi and Pop-Pop
plant cherry trees...

This fun project was planned not long ago,
after seeing The Lorax...

Rissi promised.

When she's a teenager and drives down National Highway she's going to remember....  'those are the trees pop-pop and I planted on Easter day, just before I turned five'...

It was chilly and windy, but memories were made...

Love was all around...  Well..  until a certain
someone had her own version of hunger games going on...

"A bottle please!!"

Happy Easter!
