Japan

Tonight I have Japan on my mind.  I find it on the globe, and it doesn't look so big.  But it's devastation is large.  I'm reminded of how small I am.  How uncertain life is.  How fragile this little round ball is.

And how tired I am right now...  Time for bed.

Keep Japan in your prayers.

The Three Musketeers

We called them The Three Musketeers.

Lindsey, Sera, and Carrie
When I think of them together, the first thing that comes to mind is the day they came out of Lindsey's bedroom after  a 'make-up makeover' covered in shades of pink, blues and reds.  At first I was speechless - then all I could do was laugh.

There were birthday parties and sleepovers, play dates and time together in church.

Time slips away and we turn around and our children are grown and gone, leaving us with memories of the good times. Lindsey, of course is my daughter.

Sera is the little girl in the middle of the photo above.  She now teaches in Saipan not far from the devastating Japan earthquake.  You can visit her blog and read about her experience  -  Here.

We were praying for you Sera!
