Just Some Stuff

Well, today we close the pool for the season :-(

I connected my Iphone to Itunes and I must have pushed a wrong button because it wiped everything on my phone out.   Then when I tried to restore it I was taken back to a year ago.  Still, a lot is wiped away.

Luckily, I had pulled Gracie's birthday pictures off first.
 This was her celebration:

Back to my phone dilemma...

I was so frustrated with dropped calls with AT&T - so when my Iphone was wiped out it was the straw that broke the camels back.

I headed over to US Cellular and got me a brand new Android Galaxy S 4.

I have 2 weeks to take it back if I don't like it.
So far, it's a keeper!

Goodbye ~ Hello

It is with deep regret that we say goodbye to summer.

And what better way to spend the last day of summer than a class reunion....

I cannot believe I graduated from high school forty years ago!

We were the Class of '73!

It wasn't so long ago, or so it seemed, that I was climbing those wide bus steps and sliding into the front seat next to my best friend, happy for another school day to be over.  Closing  my eyes I can still smell the stale school smell and hear locker doors slamming.

Time stands still for nobody...

A wonderful grandparents day gift!

Summer finally said Grammy for the first time!

(Mine is always the last name the grand-angels can/will say)

Someone once said, "If I knew having grandchildren would be this much fun, I would have had them first...."  LOL

Greysons foot print  **Precious**

They sure keep us on our toes...

And make us feel loved...

Marissa, Jake, Summer, Jasper, and Greyson ~ each one of you are a blessing!

Thank you God, for these beautiful angels to complete our lives and make us feel special.

Nice ~ Not So Nice

New things are nice.  Well, most of the time.

Our new privacy fence and pool.... Nice!

Our new boarder Charlotte the Spider....  (as long as she understands that she will need to be at least two feet away from me at all times) ...  Nice!

Our new living room suite... Nice!

 Our new bathroom...  nice!

The new king sized bed...  Oh, so nice!

Our new neighbors...  The verdict is still out...

New flowers growing around our now-golden ear...  Nice!

The new kitchen clock that plays Amazing Grace every hour on the hour in doorbell like chimes....

Not so nice!

Each and every hour  Gracie goes out-of-her-mind-crazy and runs to the door ready to attack whoever is ringing the doorbell.  You would think after three days of this, she would get it.  She does not.

Well.  You know the Susquehanna bank that was robbed up the street from where I live, (just last week)?

Welp.  (not a word.  i know.  but i feel like using it anyway)  It was robbed again this morning.  Same time, same place.

This time they caught the duo.

But they never did get the first guy.

That is why Gary put this sign on our business door:

Life Gone To The Dogs

I could say my life has gone to the dogs, but let's face it... it's been that way for almost 17 great years. My blog started out as ...
