Thoughtful Thursday

Dear Diary,

How thoughtful.  Mom shared her corn on the cob with me.  Yea..  right.  She saved me one lousy bite.  'Oh Gracie, you know I'd give you more if you weren't on a diet' - she says.

Maybe she should start going on a diet herself.  Bahahwahaha..  Know what I mean?

Anyway..   the tiny morsels of corn she gave me  were good..

But I think she could have done better.  I believe she uses that diet thing against me as an excuse not to share her food with me.  Do I dare mention Jenny Craig to her?  Or Weight Watchers?  BOL!  She says she's doing the Weight Watchers. The only thing I see her watching is food. BOL! I mean...  geesh.  Share, woman!  I guess Weight Watchers is making her hungry.  And I guess I'm hungry because she starves me.  Gracie.

Weight Watchers and Rebecca's Giveaway

What a nice week we're having here...  The days have been sunny and beautiful.

I've started Weight Watchers Online once again.

And these fresh fruit bags that are leftover from my yard sale are coming in handy.  I'm thinking there are no WW points in these..  and they are so good!

I've recently stumbled on a beautiful blog which I had been following for quite some time but didn't really visit that often.  I'm glad I decided to go there, and I intend to make it one that I visit often.  And I will confess...  I was encouraged by Rebecca's blog post about WW and that is why I decided to return.

Rebecca, over at A Gathering Place is having a giveaway and you really have to check out her blog and this gorgeous pillow.

I hope everyone is having a great week and a beautiful day.

Every Bite Counts

Just another attempt at losing the weight. You know, the extra 10 lb. I've gained in the past year. The 20 lb. I've packed on in the last two years. Ahemmm... okay... the fifty lb. since I became pregnant and gave birth to my first kid over thirty years ago.

Weight gain is something us women have
a real problem getting over...

"I used to weigh 100 lb. Honest."

Okay. Now the ingredients:

Arnold's Whole Wheat Sandwich Thin

One Egg,
Scrambled with onion
and mushroom and a tiny bit of olive oil.

Strawberries
fat free cool whip

An estimated 4 pts. on Weight Watchers.
