Emergency Visit to The Animal Hospital

Hi Everyone.

It's 3:30 AM and I just got back from an emergency visit to the animal hospital.  Gracie has bladder stones and a blockage.  

Please pray for her, that she does okay with the procedures that she will have to go through and for  possible surgery.

I have a choice to make. The vet is going to try to push the stone that is causing the blockage back up through the urethra and into the bladder, however he feels that he should then do surgery to remove the stones so this doesn't happen again weeks from now.  OR if it is a certain kind of stone, a special diet might work... but this is not as effective.    

Surgery?  Or not?  I want what's best for Gracie. 

I miss my girl already.  

Mama Robin

With all the rain, wind and chilly temperatures, Gracie has decided she'll wait here for Spring.

Mama Robin, however, is carrying on.  

 

She's going to make Spring happen with or without the cooperation of the weather.

Planned:  A fun filled birthday party for Rissie at the park pavilion where the kids can enjoy the playground and run off some steam.  

Weather:  Cold and windy.

Dear Diary,

I'm feeling a little better...  but shhh, I can't let mom know.  She's my slave woman 

 when I'm sick and I've gotten kinda used to it.  

I think I feel the need for a treat now...  But first.  The sad look.  The pity.  The hug around the neck. The belly rub.  The 'poor gracie'.  

I hear the fridge door close...  and I think I smell chickie bird...  catch ya later.  Gracie.
