Mondays Mug: Z

Mondays Mug: Z

Scrabble anyone?  My sister gifted this mug to my hubby one year for Christmas.  I guess she was getting bored with winning all of the time and wanted to give him an advantage.
It's always good to know the z and x words.  Of course, you have to be lucky enough to draw those high-point letters to begin with.

On my new Samsung Mesmerize, I downloaded an app called Wordsmith.  I convinced Hub to join in and play along...  it's almost identical to Scrabble.   So now I have 'Words with Friends' going on with my sis in Annapolis, and 'Wordsmith' going on with Hub.

Ha!  I didn't know zarf was a word.

My Favorite Little People

Gracie needed a bath.  Not her favorite thing.

This is what she does.  She thinks if she rolls over on her back that I'll just 'forget about it'.

She looks empty here...  but I'm pretty sure she's scheming.

In her mind, there's a plan to get even.  You heard about the Gumby in the middle of the floor incident early this year...  right?

All Clean.

Then we left her to watch the house while we went to celebrate a belated birthday party for Jake.

The Scooby Doo band aid was a gift from me...  no real boo-boos on his face.  Just a love of band aids.    Years from now people will look at these pictures and say...  "What happened to Jake's face?"

I think our present - a blow up jumping thingy was a hit... after it was inflated.

Tommy the Cat was taking it all in.

A busy day with my favorite little people.

 Now, back to work tomorrow.

Question

Good Morning Everyone...

I got a new phone.  The Mesmerize.   My Blackberry was acting up.  So far, so good...    There are a few things I can't figure out.  Forever learning.

I've had one of these colds for the last few weeks.  You know... the kind where you wake up and you have a horrible headache, stuffy nose and sore throat, but as the day goes by and you start drinking hot beverage, it starts to loosen up except you have laryngitis.  *Sigh*

I've been trying to refrain from complaints... especially since this is my least favorite time of year anyway.

I've been visiting some different blogs.  The web is thick with amazing people...  I'm enjoying meeting them and knowing about their lives.  So many have so much to offer... and I'm learning a thing or two.

I love the blogs with music playing but I can't figure out how to do that.  That could open up a whole new world of fun for me.  Does anybody know how to do this?

Another question.  Does anybody in the medical profession know:  Will they still do my surgery on Friday if I have this cold?   I don't have a fever, just a miserable existence in my head.  I do want to get this over with and behind me...

Okay.  That's all.  Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.
