Christmas Village and A Baby Soon!

As requested - below are some pictures of the Christmas village we put together for this year.  The train and the tree were both purchased new, but everything else was Yard Sale finds (really cheap) from last year.  I love our little village...
but not near as much as the Grandchildren love it!

And speaking of grandchildren...  by Thursday at this time, that total should change from 2 to 3.  If Lindsey doesn't have the baby by Thursday, she's to check into the hospital @ 6AM to be induced and hopefully by afternoon - a healthy baby.

Please keep my daughter and new granddaughter in your thoughts and prayers for all to go well!

Christmas village sounds so cold.  Any suggestions on a name for this village?

  6. What a darling little village! I saw a horse or two and a deer but no dog. What?! No dog? Maybe you can find one to add to represent Gracie. BTW - how is she doing now with the train up and running? Blessings to your daughter and all of your family. I'm keeping everyone in my prayers and will definitely be thinking of you on Thursday.

  7. That is the most DELIGHTFUL little Christmas Village I ever saw. I would call it Serendipity. It must be a joy for the whole family to watch the train and see the town come to life with lights. Just wonderful. I had to have my labor induced. My prayers are with your daughter for a safe delivery. Take care.

  13. What!!!! Where did you go, Gracie? Da last time me saw dat table, you was sittin' right in da middle of it!!! Since dey made you move, me tinks dey should at least name it after you.

Note from Mom...This is a very exciting time waiting for that new baby to get here. It brings back memories of waiting for our twin grandchildren to arrive 4 years ago. We're saying prayers that all goes very smoothly and Mom will bring home that new baby very soon. We'll be waiting for pictures. :o)
