Doggie Depression

Dear Diary,

When I come in from outside, my feet are wet.  When I lick and bite at my paws mom yells, 'Gracie! Don't chew on your feet!'

Walks are a thing of the past for me.  All I do is sit at my window and watch the house.  Day in.  Day out.  Watch the house.

If I voice my concern when a stranger walks past the house...  there she is again...

 'Gracie! Stop barking!!'

Is it time for her to go back to work yet?

The skies are gray and icy rain is falling from the sky.

Doggie depression?  Heck no... not me.

I just wish I could find a place to pee.

Gracie.

  1. Hang in there, Gracie. You can always do what puppy-Abbott does and use the first 12" out the back door . . . of course, I get groused at for that one, too. Humans are bossy.

  3. Peeing is a natural biological function...time to let her do what comes naturally!

  5. Bobbi, you should send a copy of that video into the Funniest Home Videos program. Add a funny voice over and you might win a $100,000!

God bless and I hope you and Gracie have a great week :-)

  6. Oh Gracie,
Sometimes we moms have to stop and think how much we are nagging. Mom doesn't mean to hurt your feelings, she really does love you but we can get uptight at times.
I do hope the snow melts quickly for you so you can pee on the grass once again!

  7. Oh, that's too cute! She keeps falling down through the snow! Poor Gracie, there's no good smells when the snow covers them all up!

  10. Sweet Gracie! That snow was too deep for your short legs, wasn't it? Glad that you finally found the spot. Misty and Cindy also have to search hard for the very, very right spot!

Now, you be patient with mom. She is recovering (thank God!) and she is probably also going "bananas" having to stay at home for so long. Give her lots of love!
