Don't Lick. Don't Scratch. Don't Bite.

Dear Diary,

Mom says our lives are at a standstill till I get better.  No walks. No playing ball or Chickie Bird.  No jumping....  well... you get the picture.

Oh, she thinks it's just fine and dandy if I watch the house though.  Don't I deserve sick leave?

It's getting colorful outside of my window.

But I don't dare bark.  If I do it's, 'Gracie! Don't bark'

'Don't lick.  Don't scratch. Don't bite. Don't dig. Don't play.'

And one would wonder why this dog's depressed?

Mom said I needed a bath months ago.  Now she says I need fumigated.  Gracie.

  1. Poor Gracie! You have to temporarily give up all your dogginess. You and mom both look so sad in the picture!

  2. Oh Gracie, you must get better soon! We are all worried about you - plus we want you to come to my superhero party!

    Your pal, Pip

P.S.: Yep, the pictures on our blog were taken on the far north side of Chicago along Lake Michigan. My mom is still mad at those silly people for letting their dog run free. All dogs are supposed to be leashed at that particular beach, but I guess they didn't care. I am sorry to hear that there is a dog that bothers you in your neighborhood.

  6. Poor Gracie - girl! I know you are "sick of being sick" but it will be over all the sooner if you are careful!

Jazz had to take tranquilizers for a few days after his surgery because he would not be a good boy........they caused him to rest instead of go "Dingo" wild doggie!

He was so happy to get back to normal and I know you will be too!!

  8. Just think how good all the 'normal' activity will be once you are healed! We often don't appreciate good health until we have been sick. I agree that it's great you weren't denied food.
