What Matters Most

Just like anyone else, I hate being sick.  Especially for over a week.
And when it gets to be over a month I start to think wait a minute!  Am I ever going to feel normal again?

*sigh*

But.  There are positives here.

Like these beautiful flowers Gracie brought back for me during her walk with Dad....

And these delicious homemade cupcakes and soup from my girls.  The presentation was even better than the food.  Summer comes in with the container of soup wearing a big smile and says, "Soup from your Summer."  Then Rissi follows with her container, "And cupcakes from your cupcake."

Those girls!  They melt my heart!

And this.  A beautiful card from my guy who has been taking really good care of me during my sickness.

Who could ask for anything more?

  3. Awww, I am so sorry you are still sick. What has the doctor said? That is too long to be sick. The food looks delicious, and I can see what you mean about the presentation, so sweet!

  7. I didn't know you were sick. I hope you will get well soon. Meanwhile, how blessed you are with those grandkids. So sweet. Finally, I'm a little surprised Gracie didn't have anything to say about those cupcakes.....

  9. A month of the Flu, is way, way, way too long.

I certainly hope you have been doctoring. These things, we just can't 'tough it out' through. And the older we get, the harder their toll can be on us.

This was posted April 2. Hope you have gotten meds, to help, since then.

    Many gentle hugs,
