The falling leaves
Drift by my window
The falling leaves
Of red and gold
I see your lips
The summer kisses
The sunburned hands
I used to hold
Since you went away
The days grow long
And soon I'll hear
Old winter's song
But I miss you most of all
My darling
When autumn leaves
Start to fall
Since you went away
The days grow long
And soon I'll hear
Old winter's song
But I'll miss you most of all
My darling
When autumn leaves
start to fall
Sorry I haven't been around in a while. It has been kind of crazy around here.... what with Dad and Mom removing furniture, adding furniture... removing rugs, adding bigger rugs. Pounding, cleaning, putting stuff here and then there. Crazy, I tell ya. But I just wanted you to know I miss you and this song is for you..... xoxoxo your Gracie.
Oh my gosh Gracie, you are adorable! I had to laugh when I saw Anvil with his Jack-O-Lantern!! Come to think of it, you can decorate him for each season!! The kids fall pictures are so great! The first two are my favorite. I say that because It would just not be right to actually say that Gracie's picture is my favorite...Hey, what's going on with the house, anyway??
ReplyDeleteAll great fall pictures! I hope it is a gentle season for you and yours Gracie and Bobbi!

Samson Says: My dear Gracie, my sweet love, thank you so much for this beautiful post. Mommy played the song for me and I just wanted to fly over there to see you and give you a million, gazillion lick kisses. Your Samson XOXOXOXOXOXO
ReplyDeletePS I told mommy she has to let me write a post just for you. She said OK, her brain has been in a fog, but she is getting better. I guess she found her brain.
