Visitor

I had the sweetest visitors a couple of days ago!

I hadn't seen Jasper since not long after his surgery in January.  He is the sweetest little guy!  I should have taken a picture of the back of his head...  he has the most adorable little curls!

He is doing great, too!  He can eat food now and doesn't have the problems he had before his surgery.

Jake was here too, but he would not be still long enough for me to get a picture...

Jasper let me hold him (reluctantly!) but he did look a little troubled by his crazy Grammy ;-)

His mommy sent me a video yesterday of Jasper taking his first couple of steps!!!!  I am thanking God for his amazing recovery!

I love my grandchildren...  they never fail to make me smile!!

Gracie, your turn.

Dear Mom,

I know your plan.  You are trying to make me an outside dog.   You said you put my cage on the patio just in case after you leave me out you get busy and then at least I would have a soft warm place to lay down.   Huh!  Yea, right.  This is just the beginning.  It starts with 10 minutes outside.  Then 20.  Before ya know it I'm spending days on end outside.   I knew it would come to this.   Comments like 'she's a bed hog' and 'she pooped on the floor' have given it away.  So just to let you know mom, I get your plan...  and I've got my eye on you.

Your loving dog,
Gracie

  3. Your grandchildren are precious, indeed. What adorable pictures. GRACIE you forgot to mention to your momma- What happens if she puts you outside, leaves and god forbid it snows or rains. You'll get all wet. Tell her you'll be an inside pup. BUT you have to behave yourself. No pooping on the floor.

  4. What a sweet little visitor. Nothing like the Grands to brighten a day...you can tell Gracie that Boudxy feels the same way, and right now he even SMELLS like an outside dog. :-)

  5. You're right, I think Jasper doesn't know what to make of his Grandma. He is so precious - aren't they all, at that age? He seems to be soaking everything in.

Gracie, there are worse things than being left outside. I won't say them, you have a pretty good imagination... We had a pretty day today - Jack and Jill spent about an hour outside - Jill didn't want to come back in, but Jack was yelling at me for 15 minutes before I let him in. (He has forgiven me)

  8. Jasper is so cute! So glad to hear all is doing well after his surgery and he is able to enjoy eating!

Gracie, your mom just wants you to get some fresh air after you've been stuck in the house all winter! Didn't you complain a little ago that you never got to go outside? Honestly, I think you have nothing to fear. you will always be primarily an indoor dog :)
