Last night, while others were partying hardy,
this was our scene at midnight...
While many who celebrated into the early morning hours nursed hangovers this morning, I enjoyed my morning coffee as always and Gracie her cookie treat.
Our front yard guests, however...
Didn't fare so well...
Heads were rolling...
And eyes were too...
Some held up better than others...
But all in all... it was a bad scene..
Dear Diary,
Wild New Years Parties can only lead to trouble. Only trouble. Gracie.
So, do you think local party revelers came by and assaulted your merry snowmen....or did the snowmen have a wild party, themselves? ;-)
ReplyDeleteOn a more serious note, I'm sorry your son's efforts were wasted. :-(
Awwwwwwww! Well, so good you have the pictures and you can always see them whenever you want!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....something serious went on outside!
ReplyDeleteYour evening was like ours. Sleepy pups and peace.
ReplyDeleteThat was some party in the yard! They were rocking and rolling! Happy you stayed in and enjoyed your evening! Happy New Year dear Bobbi, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThis was our 'scene' as well Bobbi...TV on watching the Times Squares countdown shows! We were there one New Year's Eve.....it was amazing especially for us 'country bumpkins from Nova Scotia!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI loved the book trailer and seeing Gary's daughter's face that was blocked out in the book, so innocent, so loving her daddy, made the impact of what happened hit home even more. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSamson Says: So Gracie, why weren't you out there lunging and defending your snowmen? It would have been good if I had been there, huh? We would have beat them up together and saved the snowmen to melt another day. Happy New Year, sweet girl. xoxoxo, your Samson.
Oh, dear! One would think those snowmen came to life just like Frosty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a miserable fate for some of them.:-(
Happy New Year!
A quiet night at home for us as well! Very nice actually! lol Sorry the snow family didn't fair so well!
ReplyDeleteMy celebration looked a lot like yours, not like those wild folks on the front lawn. Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of Gracie. Too bad about the snow folks!!! I was sound asleep at midnight!
ReplyDeleteOurs was also a quiet evening with sleep right at midnight and a regular schedule today! So did warm temps get the snow people or did partying people get them?
ReplyDeleteOh, my - I see what you mean about the snow! Actually, our snow here in CO (when it's frigid like it is now) is too powdery to make a snowman. (My grands still try, though.) Gracie looks mighty relaxed in the photo! Happy 2013!
ReplyDeleteIt did look as if somebody was having a party... sorry 'bout that.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the Honeymooners in ages. Glad you had a nice quiet evening.
oh the poor little snowmen are tired!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year
love
tweedles
what a shame with the destruction of the snowmen family :(
ReplyDeleteWe slept through New Year's too, Gracie.

Heads will roll.... BOL funny.
ReplyDeleteGracie & Peeps
Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
We hope 2013 is a good one for you and the year is filled with joy and fun.
Best wishes Molly
Glad you had a quiet New Years Eve. It does look like your snowmen had quite a bash though. It was a quiet one here too. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to stop by to wish you a happy new year! Your scenery is so different from mine as I live in Phoenix, Arizona. No snow here!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Debbie
Hi Bobbi and Gracie, So very cute; I am glad that you didn't suffer from too much fun. Your snowman however didn't fare as well. Jenni
Oh, sad snow people. We welcomed the New Year with our grandchildren and their parents at their up-state NY home by playing games, watching a moving and eating.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year wishes to you!!! :)
I brought in the new year at work so not much partying here either. How sad about the snowmen!
