Short-Stuff and The Dog

Cheerio's on the floor can mean only one thing...

Summer spent the night and she has defied all odds and found a way to spill food from her no-spill bowl.

Summer carrying her 'no spill bowl'

Dear Diary,  I laid down the rules for Short-Stuff when she got here last night.  No ear pulling.  No playing with my toys.  No stealing all of the attention.  Got it Short-Stuff?

She assured me that she got it.

Then she had a few rules of her own.

'No tickling my face with your whiskers, Big Dog' she said.

'And no stealing my toys...'

Then Mom showed her how to feed me cookies.  But she needed to have some extra tutoring on the feeding cookies to the dog lesson.  Oh sure, she had no problem putting the cookie to my mouth.  But she just didn't want to let go of it..

By the end of her stay, she had it down pat.

And I had a job to do.  Cheerios were everywhere.  A dog's work is never done.  Gracie.

  1. What amazing captures, and you didn't miss one cute moment! The two of them are just adorable!!! Her big smile in picture 4 lights up the whole room, even MY room way over here in old Virginia!

  2. So cute.... Miss Summer is gettin' so big, too! Love those pics!!!

    Hugs from Texas,

  3. Pawsome training session Gracie. You and short-stuff need to train with foodables more often. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. Summer is adorable! Glad that you taught her just the right way to feed you your cookies. Now you gotta teach her how to drop some steak off of her plate. And starting with Cheerios I see she's getting the hang of it.

  6. Cutie pie:) Sweet Summer is getting big! I know you all enjoyed having her with you:) Gracie especially enjoyed getting some extra treats from Summer! Good Girl Gracie for being so sweet to her! Have a blessed day dear Bobbi, HUGS!

  7. What wonderful pictures. We've had experiences with no spill bowls here too.

  8. OMD....Wittle teenie ones need to be taught the "let go of the cookie" thing while they're still young. When they get older, they stuff the whole thing in THEIR mouths. Not not good!

Yep...clean up those Cheerios so you don't have to deal with Count Vacula!

  9. Hi there friends, I've been wondering what you've been up to-what fun with Short stuff. Glad you are such a good teacher Gracie and help with clean up. Gracie-I think you've missed some...just kidding.
    Have a warm afternoon.
    Hugs, Noreen

  10. Gee, last year you were worried about the baby getting the attention... I told you it wouldn't be long. Sure enough, you're eating out of her hands. :D

I LOVE CHEERIOS...should you need help cleaning them up I'm your go to BFFF
