She was my first grand-angel.
I tell her she'll always be special to me.
Every couple of Fridays, it's her turn to spend the night.
She'll ask her Mommy, "Is it Friday yet?"
She still jumps up into my lap and asks me
to sing to her or tell her a story.
Friday was her last day of pre-k and next year will be kindergarten. I get teary eyed when I think of how she's growing and I just want to hold her in my arms and
keep her this little forever!
Dear Diary, The Cupcake doesn't share cookies with me like she used to... ever since
She is precious and I know you enjoy those visits so much;). They just grow up WAY too fast. . Big hugs from Georgia!
ReplyDeleteWhen Samson heard it was about cookies and cupcakes, he had me read this to him. First though, your granddaughter is so adorable. Makes me wish I had one of my own.
ReplyDeleteSamson Says: Join the club, Gracie. Since I had my stomach illness, I'm not allowed ANY people food. AT ALL! Life is a bore, isn't it? But that's a good trick you got there, just don't forget that your mom reads your DIARY, so now she'll know. And I bet the kid will wipe her mouth from now on! XOXO, Your Samson
Wonderful visits that make a wonderful day even better. ENJOY each and every one. "GRACIE, you clever dog, you. Stealing cookie crumbs with a kiss."

ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi and Gracie, It amazes me how quickly grandkids grow up. Our oldest is 11 yrs old now-where did the years go?! Your granddaughter is so adorable-you've got lots of time left. Gracie you are so darn adorable but you need to keep your girlish figure. Have a great week you two.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen
Both your granddaughter's are just beautiful! I know that these times that you're spending together will be and are treasured memories for you both that will connect you two to one another in the years ahead!
ReplyDeletePS: Gracie, don't give up, I see cookies and cupcakes in your future!! :-)
That Gracie is a very good-natured dog to be so close to the angel's face. It's mutual love.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the view from the hiking pictures.
A sweet girl! Hard to see kids grow up!
ReplyDeleteShe is a cutie! =)
ReplyDeleteOh Gracie
