Winter. Ugh!
I'm sorry... I can't adjust.
If I may... I'd like to quote the Eagles:
Don't your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the night time from the day
You're losin' all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the night time from the day
You're losin' all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?
Desperado... etc.
*Sigh*
If it weren't for the job and the grand-angels I'd be tempted to grab my hubby and run away to a warmer, sunnier climate.
*Another Sigh*
Speaking of grand-angels.. my newest, Summer (oh, how I love her name) has her first cold. She's coughing a lot but no fever yet. She got it from her sissie (Rissi) who was sick last week. Summer's only 6 weeks old so if you remember, mention her in your prayers.
Lindsey sent me a picture tonight. I don't know why, but these phone pictures just won't rotate right for me...
*One more sigh*
Is anyone else going stir crazy?
Summer is adorable! I am thankful to live in South Texas. I would like a little snow every once in awhile, but I would hate long colld winters. I love to be outside in my garden and yard!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Lorilee
Bobbi, that Summer is as cute as a button! And it's hard for me to imagine a long cold winter.... but I know it must be trying to endure day after day of it... It has been like 75 degrees here during the day in the Houston area.... and like Lorilee said, I, too, would like a little snow every once in a while....
ReplyDeleteHug Gracie for me, ok? And I will be praying for littl Summer!
Jenni
Me, ME!!!! I hate the early dark!! But I love The Eagles! Hey, what about my fave from them "One Of These Nights"? And winter does have some LONG nights!!! Poor little summer with her first cold. I will say a prayer for her tonight, Bobbi! Our son had an ear infection at one week, the beginning of many.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie pie Summer is. She'll be in my prayers tonight. She's too little to be sick. Poor thing must be miserable. Siblings do pass it back and forth. LOVE, the lyrics and The Eagles. Winter is depressing. But since it's been mild here, I'm not getting the Cabin Fever I usually do. Hope your doldrums fade away. Hang in there. Close your eyes. Think beautiful COLORFUL flowers springing forth from the earth. Spring is right around the corner. Take care.
ReplyDeletePoor little Summer, hope she gets better soon! Love the Eagles! Might be singing that song all day now.
ReplyDeletePraying that Summer gets well soon. What a cutie she is! I don't like the cold or the darkness of winter. I need LIGHT! Wishing you a blessed day, Bobbi.
ReplyDeleteme too!

ReplyDeleteWinter is the pitts in the north. BUTT....hurry-canes can get ya if you moved south!
Solution: Become a SNOW BIRD!

ReplyDeleteGracie my sunpuddles have been missing since last Friday morning and let me just say I'm sick and tired of
this dreary, damp weather.
Hugs from your BFFF,

Bless her sweet baby heart. I'll keep Summer in my prayers - and you too. Stir-crazy isn't fun.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when the tiny ones get a cold. Sure hope it's of short duration. Praying for Summer...REmember, with each day we are one day closer to Spring.
ReplyDeleteHang tight!

I am sorry to hear that Summer has a cold! I hope she is feeling better! I am not a fan of winter but we are having really mild temps this year and that I am thankful for. I think what I dislike is the shorter days. I am really looking forward to spring!
