Thank you, Veterans!

My sister, the school teacher, asked me to email her a picture of Dad for a Veterans Day wall her class was creating.  Here is the finished product.

I wish Dad were alive today so I could tell him how honored I am that he was my father.

Dad died at 53 years old.  Wow, that's young.
I miss him to this day.

A blink of an eye...  and you might miss it.
So don't blink!

Have a beautiful Veterans Day everyone...
And to all those who served...

THANK YOU!

Gracie and I are still chilling from Blogger but we hope to be back real soon.  I am tempted to just get in here and start seeing what you all have been up to...  but then one thing would lead to another and before you know it, I'd be hooked again and this painting would not get done and neither would my book.

Miss you all!  Will be back soon....

  3. I'm thankful for our fathers service to our country. I'm father passed at age 57. It does seem so young now doesn't it? I'm thinking about your book and wondering if it is an ebook? : ) Just me. If you have mentioned in your blog what your book was about I must have missed it. Keep at it and you'll soon be done. Oh happy day!

  7. Thanks for sharing! I know that many of the teachers had the kids bring in pictures of the veterans in their families, I think it's great!
