I just got to work.. I'm having a real hard time to keep tears from falling.
Gracie hurt herself last week. My sister had come in from Annapolis, and Gracie goes crazy with surprise visitors - she jumped from the chair, ran to the door and started yelping. I knew something was wrong. But then she seemed to get okay, but there was swelling and bruising. Before then, her surgical site was doing so well
Today she went to get her sutures removed. The outside looked good, but she has a hernia. They kept her there and she goes back in for surgery today after noon. I'm so so so so so so sad.
Oh no! I am so sorry! Gracie will be OK with surgery and all, right? That poor girl! Hang in there, Bobbi.
ReplyDeleteShe will be just fine Bobbi... Tessy told me so... prayers to you all... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteOh no! Poor little Gracie. She's had a rough few weeeks. I'm sure she'll be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteDrools and licks,

So sorry to hear this news Bobbi. It's sad but you know she is getting the very best care. I pray that very soon she will be all better. Sending a hug and prayers, Mildred
ReplyDeleteOh no little Gracie! We'll be thinking about you (and your momma!) and praying for you both today. Hugs and sloppy wet kisses,
ReplyDeleteNugget & Oscar
Maybe have to not have visitors for a while. She is going to really need her rest now.
ReplyDeleteSign on the door?
Oh nose....poor sweet Gracie. I feels so bad for hers. But she'll be home befores you nose it.
ReplyDeleteI'm am so sorry!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. When I took her in this morning I had no idea I'd be leaving without her. It's been a tough couple of weeks trying to keep her from hurting herself. I know she's been getting depressed because she wants to be going for walks and enjoying life again... especially on the pretty days. I AM going to put a sign on my door... crazy as that sounds. I don't want to do this again. I just hope she does surgery okay. She has a real problem with the anesthesia...
ReplyDeleteBobbi, I commented on your FB page and will just say again how sorry I am that you BOTH have to go through this again...Know that I'll be thinking of you and Gracie--Let us know how it goes, okay?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Poor lambie! Bobbi, I am so sorry you are having to go through this again....
ReplyDeletePlease dokeep us posted. My family were asking me repeatedly how Gracie was, during the last episode, so just remember lots of people are praying for y'all and thinking of you too!
In His Love,

Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteFirt happy belated b-day to Gary.
We are so sorry to read about Gracie. Bless her little heart. It is so hard to keep the furbabies from jumping and they don't seem to understand until it it is too late. I remember each time we've have a pet spayed/neutered the Vet says don't let them jump and make sure they don't get excited. And I want to say how in the dickens can you keep a cat from jumping or a dog from getting excited.
Big Hugs and let us know how she is doing
Madi and Mom
