Japan

Tonight I have Japan on my mind.  I find it on the globe, and it doesn't look so big.  But it's devastation is large.  I'm reminded of how small I am.  How uncertain life is.  How fragile this little round ball is.

And how tired I am right now...  Time for bed.

Keep Japan in your prayers.

  1. I am exhausted, myself, from worry and concern.

Have a good night's sleep now.

  2. I find myself watching more CNN and Fox News than before - the earthquake is bad enough but the wave and destruction of the tsunami is beyond my comprehension. So many lives lost and turned upside down/inside out. May God grant all an inner peace and the strength to go on.

  11. It definitely is astounding, the devastation in Japan. And you're right, Japan really isn't very big. But the whole thing kinda puts the rest of the world into an odd perspective.

I thought that if we had an earthquake with the magnitude of 9 or 10, it meant utter destruction. Such as the western coast would be under water... a major crack in a landmass or something. So for an earthquake of 8.9 plus the tsunamis on such a tiny island... wow.
