Dear Diary,
Well, let's see... why am I not in the mood for Christmas my Mom asks. Well...
1. You moved my recliner and replaced it with a dozen houses, a forest, fake people and a train that makes an awful noise....
2. Suddenly the house is filled with bright lights. It's hard for a girl to get a decent afternoon snooze around here with all that brightness...
3. There are days when boxes of stuff are everywhere and I have a terrible time trying to find my Gumby or my chew bone. Geesh...
4. You're starting to talk about my Christmas antlers and that red Christmas sweater and believe me, I know what they are. You put them on me, laugh, shoot some pictures... then laugh some more.
So you thought taking me for a walk in spite of the cold conditions outside was going to make it all better? Not on you're life lady. But I'll go. Just to appease you. You'll have to do better than that.
Gracie.
HEHEHE Yup Christmas is just strange for the doggies.
ReplyDeleteMy Ragsy has the same thoughts, lol... Blessings. Lady Jane

Gracie....
ReplyDeleteWe've got the same problem at our house....."she" keeps changing things around....we're hiding under the bed....
Max & Mia.....MissKitty, too
aww how cute!
ReplyDeleteGracie does NOT look happy; it sounds like she shares the same sentiment that others do when the Christmas holidays roll around; a lot of fuss!
ReplyDeleteHang in there Gracie!
Just wait Gracie ~ once you get your loot from Santa, it will all be worth it! You are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteaaawww, what a cutie. Can't wait to see her in her antlers though.
ReplyDeleteGracie, Koda "feels your pain". Last year we moved his crate to put the Christmas tree there, he got sick, cost us a vet visit to get his stomach on the right track. Needless to say, the tree is going in a different location this year! But maybe there are some good things for the season ahead, there could be an extra treat or two wrapped up with your name on it under the Christmas tree :)

Oh, poor Gracie! The indignities you must undergo at this this time of the year!! Never you mind, I think that mommy will have a special gift for you at Christmas, it's not all bad, even for a cute little white dog!
ReplyDeleteHmmm........this sure sounds like a familiar story, especially the clothing part!!! Billy
ReplyDeleteThe 'look' on Gracie's face tells it all!

Tootie hates going out in the cold....by herself, that is. So I have to stand out there with her while she does her business and I hate that! Since I got her at Christmas time, this is the first one for her. So far, she's liking it...I think! LOL
ReplyDeleteLiz
lol Gracie is awfully cute in her coat. My dogs really love their "antlers" too...not!
ReplyDeleteSamson Says: Hello Gracie, I really feel for you. No decorations around here. I think Mommy is worried I might chew them all up. Hey, that's an idea...grab a few and chew on them and I bet she'll put them all away. Especially those antlers!!
ReplyDeleteOh how precious! I know three furry babies here at Verde Farm that are telling me right now they completely agree with Gracie. Pappy says if I pull out that red hat he is going under the bed and never coming out :)
ReplyDeleteAmy
So cute! Kitties are different! Ours love the Christmas decorations especially sleeping under the trees!
