Monday's Mug

I'm noticing that some of the blogs I visit have themes according to the day of the week.

I like that.

That is why I'm putting aside Monday's to tell you about my mugs...  the ones I've collected and  displayed on the ledge above my kitchen cabinets.

They hadn't been down in... forever.

I found a dead bug in one.

Time to give them all a bath.

Today's feature mug:

Lefton China

These, hubby found at an antique store
when we first met.

He fell in love with them

and they represented him,
with his daughter Athena

 and me,
with my daughter Lindsey.

  1. I love your mugs! The meaning behind them is so perfect! I love my mugs and my tea-cups. I have Bybee Pottery Pigs in my kitchen each with a son's name and birthdate! They so respresent a very special time! Have a joyful week!

  2. You have a very nice collection of mugs. I have a favorite coffee mug I've used for years. For some reason coffee just doesn't taste the same unless I drink it out of my special mug :-)
