It is with deep regret that we say goodbye to summer.
And what better way to spend the last day of summer than a class reunion....
FORTY YEARS!!
I cannot believe I graduated from high school forty years ago!
We were the Class of '73!
It wasn't so long ago, or so it seemed, that I was climbing those wide bus steps and sliding into the front seat next to my best friend, happy for another school day to be over. Closing my eyes I can still smell the stale school smell and hear locker doors slamming.
***SIGH***
Time stands still for nobody...

Wow, what an experience!!!! Forget the forty year reunion, you barely LOOK forty!!! I bet you were the cutest one there and everyone recognized you because you haven't changed.

It is amazing how time flies, isn't it? Neat that you went to your 40th reunion; I'm sure it was fun to catch up with people. The nice thing about saying goodbye to summer with how fast time flies, we'll be saying hello to it before we know it :)

Reunions are fun but boy do they ever remind us just how fast time goes by. Autumn is very bittersweet for me.
