What's Happening

We were out of town again last weekend.

We visited a place called Q-Mart where there was a little bit of this and a little bit of that.  The candy store (above) had the sweetest smell!  It took me back to my childhood days of filling up little paper sacks with 10 cents worth of penny candy.

We stayed in a suite at the Hampton Inn in Bethlehem, PA and it was very nice.  The only problem was, the bed was soft and I don't rest well unless I have a firm mattress.

We took Gary's Mom out for Mother's Day brunch on Sunday morning before we left to come home.

Waiting at home for me was all kinds of Mother's Day goodies.

And a dog who wanted to know:

*** don't feel too sorry for the dog.  Lindsey and Rissi take really good care of her while we are away and they visit often to let her out and fill her bowls to overflowing with food and water

Looks like you had a Mother's Day full of goodies with lots of love attached.

I love your pictures! Will you put the heart sign out front? Is that paint or chalk? It is so cute! And what awesome gifts, both bought and made. Looks like you hit the Mother's Day jackpot! Sorry about the bed though. You look prettier than ever, the rest must have done you good.

What sweet gifts you rec'd for Mother's Day. I'm sure Gracie was well cared for. She is so sweet.
I'm like you ... I can't sleep on a soft mattress.

Wow, I love the little trinket box! I think I would have loved that stop at the candy place, thinking about little pillow mints with the green jelly inside - did they have those there?

Looks like someone gave Gracie's ears a good brushing too, that's a pretty picture. If I show it to Samson, he'll go bananas. He really has a thing for ears!! Always licking mine.

Sounds like you had a great time! Poor little Gracie, I bet she really put on the sad face - Pip does this when we travel!
