My favorite job Ever = Being a Mom.
That love for babies still exists in me...
A few weeks back I enjoyed walking through a really cool antique market while we were visiting Bethlehem, Pa.
I found some vintage baby buggies... and an old and scary looking baby as well....
And while I was focusing on babies and buggies, Gary was doing man stuff.
You know...
Like drinking water from one of those old tin dipper thingies like they do in the westerns....
We drank from these dippers and buckets when we visited my grandparents in NW Arkansas during the 50's and 60's. Everybody drank from the same dipper. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love babies, too.
My brother laughs at his baby photos with the old metal baby stroller - it's a wonder we survived growing up!
ReplyDeleteWow!! A Blast from the past....very cool! Y'all visit some of the neatest places!!!

This is a cool little assortment of old baby buggies. You don't see them much anymore, they seem to be replaced with strollers. I think they have more in England, where they are called prams and are pushed by nannies. Tell Gary to watch out for metal in the water!! WHY are these old baby dolls SO scary looking????
ReplyDeleteNeeding some shopping time myself:) Love walking thru and seeing all of the antiques! Have a blessed evening dear Bobbi, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteMy mom had one of those prams back in my day!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE antique malls. I'm going to post about our visit next week, since I saw you did this one. That baby doll looked scary for sure and it wasn't just the hair. LOL The buggies were sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place!
