I Don't Know What They Are

I have a confession to make.

I know nothing about plants, trees or flowers.  I can't identify many and I certainly don't know how to take care of them.

All I know is that they are pretty.
Does that make me shallow?

I hear you all talking shop out there about your plants and flowers and trees and I admire you so!

I know some...

I know a lilac bush when I see it and smell it.
It's my favorite.

I know sunflowers, roses, tulips and hydrangeas.

I'm not sure what these are.
We planted them a few years ago...  and they sure are pretty when they bloom.

I love the different colors that the earth becomes this time of year.  Wildflowers are my 2nd favorite.  I love the variety.

I even love the simple yellow dandelions.  Are they considered a weed?  If so...  I love the yellow weeds.

I hope everyone is enjoying Spring!

  13. There are many things I enjoy that I don't understand - electricity, for one. It's the same with flowers, you don't have to be knowledgeable about them to enjoy them. Don'cha think?! Mister loves me but at times he clueless about Moi'...Great photos!

  14. Hey there, dear one... I think those flowers are azaleas.... they are a BIG deal down here in the south...... we have an azalea trail here in the Houston area every Spring, where one can tour and see them blooming profusely in all their different colors.... we have an Azalea bush in our front yard that is a least forty years old and is still gorgeous..... so glad you shared these pretty pictures!
Hope your Friday is full of Joy and happiness!
    Hugs,
    Jenni

  15. Your azaleas are very pretty! We had several bushes at our old house. They were causing too many bees around the entrance to our house so we dug them up and gave them to my Mom & Dad. That was over 10 years ago and they are so big and beautiful now. They really enjoy them.
