My Cup is Full and Running Over

'My cup is full and running over'.
Does anybody remember that song from
Bible School years ago?

That's how I feel right now.

One more grandchild has made a big difference in our lives.

 I can't get enough of Summer's sweetness.

But there is Rissi who needs to feel
continued love  and attention...

Then there's Jake who doesn't get nearly as much time as the girls, one reason being that I don't fully trust him around Gracie and I have to watch him very closely.

This week has been back to back grandkids.

Summer. Rissi. Jake.

A dear friend came today turning my living room into a studio ~ setting up a photo shoot for the girls.

The pictures are beautiful.

I miss blogging and visiting you all...

I see some R & R in the near future...
Because my Grand obligations
have been fulfilled for a time.

And though I love my time with the little darlings....
I like my quiet time as well.

And so does Gracie.

  6. Your friend took all these pictures? WOW!!! Summer is just too beautiful and sweet in them, and Rissi is beautiful, that's a wonderful picture. Are those silver dollar pancakes and did you make them? A cute picture! And I can hardly tell where Gracie ends and her furry pillow begins!

  7. Summer and that headband picture is adorable. Going to be a model, that one. Such a little bundle of joy. Rissi in the Santa Hat in B&W gives it an old fashioned look that is really nice. Just love her eyes and expression. And what could say, boys are pretty cool too, better than that photo of Jake with the Train Christmas Village. He's focusing so intently on that train going round the track. But of course sticking his tongue out as a pancake is neat too. GRANDMA you are so lucky. I know how nice it is to spend time with them, but I also know what it's like to kick your shoes off and let them head back home at the end of the day. ENJOY. They grow up so fast. Take care. You too Gracie.

  11. Happy Holidays Bobbi, I love seeing your grands, especially Rissi-she is soooo adorable! I know what you mean about needing time alone, grands can wear a nana out. So glad Gracie is handling it in stride. Have a delightful weekend.
