Lindsey's Worried.

Lindsey's worried.  It seems Rissi won't eat her lunch at school.

But today she did..  How do I know, you ask?

Because today is Grandparents week and grandparents were invited to share lunch
 with their grandchildren at school.

"Grammy and Pop Pop, I made this just for you."

She made a special present just for us.

We had so much fun!  And the food was great...

It's days like this that I'm reminded of how blessed I am.

  1. What a fun thing to do! Sure can tell Rissie enjoyed it too!

  2. That sounds like a great outing for you. I'm glad you could share it with your grand daughter,

  3. What a fun memory for all of you! Such a nice gift for you to keep, for ever and ever! Needs a frame!

  4. That sounds like an awesome lunch! :)

  5. How nice that must of been for all of you. Beautiful photos!

  6. Precious pictures! Looks like she was so proud to have you both there. I know you will treasure the gift she made.

  7. So why do you think she might not be eating? New routine? Different food than she's accustomed to? Do they review the menu to make sure she knows the selections ahead of time? Perhaps she might like to pack a lunch instead. . . . . just looking at options.
So very happy for your fun time together!

  8. You and me both, Bobbi!! So we are soul sisters this week! We have done the same post today! These are great pictures and I love the purple hand prints!! Anne Marie's school said that grandparents can come for lunch anytime, just let them know ahead of time! Maybe Rissi's school does this, as well. We want to do this once a week. I think the way to make sure she eats her lunch is to eat with her!

  9. Very sweet! We had Grandparent's Day at our school last week and, as always, it was a huge hit.

  10. Your sweet little grandone sure looks happy to have you there with her. Wonderful memories you are making with her!

  11. That is so sweet! Glad the school did something like this! I'm sure it gave a great opportunity for grandparents to spend time with their grandchildren in a school setting!

  12. How precious! A frame and a special place in the house, right?

You are a lovely couple, and the little Princess is adorable!

  13. I loved Grandparents Day. Now we live nearly 1000 miles away. I loved seeing your pictures. the smiles made me smile too.

Do stop by my blog. I have something to share with you.

  14. Oh Bobbi that must have been a very special day for you and Gary.
Precious memories. I bet you would have gladly eaten rubber just to be there.
