Today during our walk around the house, a butterfly landed on Gracie's back and then flitted softly away.
I wish I would have snapped a picture of it but I wasn't quick enough.
I had always heard that if a butterfly lands on a
baby's head it's good luck.
I wonder if the same applies for dogs.
How cool! You got a good shot there, I've not seen a butterfly that looks like that.
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I hadn't heard that about a butterfly, interesting.
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi, What pretty pictures you have shared - you know how I love butterflies. Give Gracie a tummy rub from me!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard that about butterflies before, but you know it will be some good luck for Gracie.

How beautiful Bobbi and Gracie... I love butterflies and their special meanings... in Native American, they symbolize eternal life... maybe it will come back to visit Gracie again and you can capture a photo... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeletePretty butterfly. I haven't seen that kind before. I never heard the good luck thing either. I frequently try to photograph butterflies and it is not easy. They don't usually stay in one place very long!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Lorilee
How nice. We've heard somewhere that a butterfly is a sign from Heaven that a message of love is being sent from our loved ones there.
ReplyDeletevery interesting about the butterflies; I hadn't heard that before either; but I bet it was neat to see one briefly rest on Gracie!!
