Animal Abusers

This little guy has come a long way since Sunday when he was rescued after a long week of running scared in the woods with his snout duct taped shut....
You can see the black tape on his mouth above.  This is how he was found, on somebody's porch.  The girl immediately called 911 and had the rescue team come.

Ducky has become quite famous.  There are over 3,000 likes on his facebook page.

Ducky's case has brought an awareness for the rescued animals in our area.  More people are adopting, giving of their time, and donating $$ than ever before.  Everything happens for a reason.  This poor dog's suffering has been turned into something good.

And people are trying to get laws changed for stiffer penalties for animal abusers.

People like Ducky's abusers should pay
 for their evil deeds.

"Why?"

  1. There's a case going on here where a bloodhound was found with her whole head duct taped, except her nose. She was chained up inside a house by the laundry room and the owner said the dog was chained up and duct taped because he was "chewing". That just makes me so so so mad. I thought of your Ducky, and how lucky he was.

  2. It's been said.... if someone will abuse animals they are not far away from killing little children too :-(

  3. Yeah, I can think of a few things I would like to do with that duct tape and Ducky's abusers - but I can't say what here - the language I would use would not "fit" in blogville. I can't even describe how I feel about people (if you can call them that) who abuse animals.

  4. Ducky has beautiful eyes. I am so thankful this story has a happy ending. And I am thankful you have kept us updated.

  5. Why? Because they are bullies! And I believe they were abused as children or at the least had bad parents. Not much of an excuse, because there are many who had awful childhoods and overcame that to be very good people.

  6. Oh my goodness, when I see that poor dog, I feel like weeping at first, and then I get verrrry angry. By the time I scrolled down to the pictures of those two sorry excuses for human beings, I was in the anger stage.....

Duct tape thier mouths shut(So that they can't remove it) lock them up, throw away the key for a week or two and see how they like it!

I agree with whomever said above that if they will abuse animals, they will harm children too....

thanks for keeping us updated on everything, Bobbi!
    Have an awesome weekend,
    Jenni

  8. I agrres withs Jenni! My emotions turned to anger when I saw da fotos of them cowards. They makes me wanna hurl my cookies. It is my "professional" opinion dat anybuddy dat would do sumptin likes dis is not mentally stable and dat skeeres da daylights outta me cuz they will only be out back out into society to do it again and again and....you gets my point.
However, da bright side is dat Ducky is safe. I wish and I pray dat he gets da home he deserves where there is lots of love and safety.

  10. I am thankful that this sweet dog has been saved from the cowards that would do this to a helpless dog. I hope they are punished to the full extent of the law.

  12. I volunteer at the SPCA. I can not believe what some people do to pets. Hoping he gets a good home and the abusers are punished.

  13. I am just so glad he is safe and will have new start in life. Are those the two losers that did this to him? I hope they pay dearly for their crime and cruelty.

  14. Oh Ducky looks so sweet, I am just devastated at what he had to endure. I hate to mention it, but we had a case here in NY of a dog wrapped entirely in duct tape from tail to nose. Fortunately he did survive because just enough tape was loose by the nose so he could breathe. It is sickening to think of someone capable of such cruelty. Ducky deserves a lot of love.

  15. Ducky looks so sweet. How could anyone do something like this? Just cruelty at its worst, or close to its worst. There will be many wonderful people out there waiting to give Ducky the life he deserves. Finally a story with a happier ending. Now let's lock up the guys who did this and throw away the key!

  16. Here we go, Bobbi. I am going to say what many people that have left their comments did not say - because they are too sweet and polite - but, when it involves animal cruelty, I'm certainly not!

You ask why people do things like this - look at their faces and the answer is right there: they are plain useless-no-good-for-nothing pieces of garbage that are not worth the air they breathe!! Two punks that will never amount to anything! Human weeds, waste! And, as such, they should be dealt with.

The puppy is adorable. And, as you said, his suffering has opened a door for the benefit of others like him. Sweet baby. I would take him on a blink of an eye!

  17. What a sweet baby. It makes me so mad when people abuse their animals. People who abuse animals have no souls. They have empty carcasses that are fill with ugliness and stupidity. I believe that people who abuse animals should be packed on a boat and sent a drift with nothing to survive on. We don't need them in society. Usually people who abuse animals, also abuse people or they be come sociopaths. Who needs them. We don't. I am sure God has a special place in hell for people like that.

  19. Hi Bobbi... I have devoted my life to rescuing all of God's critters that need my help, and also helping fight against the worthless ASSES who hurt them... yes, I WILL say that word, as it is the only one I can think of that describes those horrible excuses for human beings... I think they should be tortured then shot... I have NO feelings for them except hate... yes, I am a Christian but that's exactly how I feel... I have NO forgiveness for them and never will... I wish they would give that sweet doggie a new name... something sweet so she can forget her horrible past... xoxo Julie Marie and Tessy

  20. Morning Gracie...oh Mom and I say ditto to every single comment above. Anyone who abuses puppies, kittens or any animal...is just 1/4 step away from committing more horrendous crimes.

I think their faces should be posted in every SPCA, vet clinic and post office all over the USA and the heck with any rights they claim to have!!!
    Hugs madi

  21. Aw... Ducky is adorable! Such a shame that some people do these things to defenseless animals. I hope he goes to a good and loving home and never has to be abused again.

  22. That should be "never gets abused again"
    Der.... :-)

  24. I am so glad that Ducky is going to have the opportunity to enjoy a much better life! Animal angers me more than anything! I agree with a lot of the other comments! Those guys are worthless!

We had an incident happen here summer before last that was heart wrenching. A female puppy was found in the park burned and covered in maggots. A runner found her and immediately got her help. They named her Susie and she recovered and was adopted. The idiot that did that to her was slapped on the wrist. It infuriated a lot of people and they all got together and went to Raleigh. Susie's law was implemented this past December. It is now a felony to abuse an animal in the state of NC.....Hallelujah!
