Will my dog ever trust me again?
She followed me to the laundry room... she likes to go in there and snoop around, plus> it leads to the garage where there's even more inviting smells.
After throwing the darks in the dryer I started a load of whites in the front loading washer, then stepped back; the washer takes a minute to kick in...
Standing there, I glanced down at my dog as she stood in front of the washer and It dawned on me that her fur is starting to grow back and she's 'cute' again - as opposed to the rat-like look that she owned after her last grooming. I could tell she was uneasy when I stooped down to pet her.
Laundry room = business. No time for affection.
"Come here girl, Mommy wants to pet you..." I said.
Just then water started pouring into the washer. She looked at me, looked at the washer, then made a bee line for the door.
LOL
Dear Diary,
Okay, this is it. She's always cleaning my ears, checking me for bugs and pulling boogies from my eyes. But there is no way that I'm going to let her put me in that washing machine. NO WAY!! NO WAY!!!
NO WAY!!!!!!
Gracie.
NO WAY!!!!!!
Gracie.
LMAO!
ReplyDeleteStill LMAO!!!
Oh that is cute. Our pets run from me when I have the ear cleaner and Qtips! Too funny about the washing machine!
ReplyDeleteRun, Gracie, run!! Too funny!
ReplyDeletetoo cute!! when Koda hears my son running water in the bathroom, he always comes and glues himself to me because he's afraid he is going to be snatched away for that dreadful bath!
ReplyDeletebetty
So funny! Mack and I are not crazy about bath time/ear cleaning either!
ReplyDeleteDrools and licks,
Minnie and Mack
LOL! That is too funny.
ReplyDeleteThanks for finding my blog, Bobbi, so that I could find yours. :o)
Have a lovely day!
That is sooooooo funny! As soon as I put the light on in the guest bathroom, Billy hides! That is where he usually gets his bath.
ReplyDeleteCute story. I have a new puppy in my household and it is fun watching him explore his way around while learning new things. He gets scared at the silliest things like the feather duster or the air blowing out of the heat duct. Hopefully we won't have to add leaking washer to the list.
ReplyDeleteThey know, Bobbi. Sophie runs to the basement as soon as she sees me with the box of tissues to check her ears! they are smart.
ReplyDeleteJim
that is just too funny. I am glad however it's not just our Molly who hates water!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by and commenting,
Gill
FUNNY! Our dogs seemed to sense when it was bath-time even when I hadn't started any water. I would trim our dog's fur and it made him a bit crazy to have to stay still for it, too.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny!
